Google hardware event confirmed for October 9 in NY

Google to Unveil Next-Gen Pixel Phones October 9 The tech giant is holding a hardware event in New York City.

Google has started sending media invites for its Pixel phone launch event "Made By Google". Since the leaked devices have already made their way to the smartphone market, Google does not really need to mention much to announce what to expect. Pixel 3 XL could be fuelled by a 3.430mAh battery, with a USB Type-C port for charging.

It seems nearly certain that Google will reveal the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones on October 9. Some other leaked images show that just like the earlier Pixel phones, the new Pixels will have a dual-tone design. With so many tweets, Instagram posts and blogs showing what is purported to be Google's upcoming Pixel 3 XL it does make one wonder where they are coming from. Last year, the company announced Clips, Pixel Buds, PixelBook, Home Mini and Max along with the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

We still have a month, so expecting more leaks conforming what are on the cards. The Pixel stand is said to have Google Assistant built in it.

The Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL design has been leaked in its full glory, thanks to several hands-on photos, few unboxing videos, and even reviews from a missing batch of units from production.

For imaging, the Pixel 3 XL could also feature a single 12.2 MP rear camera.

It'll also feature a P-OLED 6.7 inch screen with a 2960×1440 resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

If true, this means the Pixel 3 could cost less than its predecessors. Clearly, we had to take these rumours with a pinch of salt. There is a good chance Google would also bump up the prices of at least the Pixel 3 XL, if not both models.
