Sarri thanks Benitez for Napoli success

Considering we caused a well drilled Tottenham outfit some problems, we should be well capable of exploiting vulnerabilities in a team who are very much a work in progress.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri says that Eden Hazard is not yet ready for 90 minute action for their Sunday's Premier.

When asked about Loftus-Cheek's future at the club, Sarri said: "I have spoken with him twice this week after I spoke with the club".

Sarri revealed he expects Loftus-Cheek to stay until January after speaking to him this week, and added that he is in no hurry to let go of Abraham either.

Loftus-Cheek was being tipped to break into Chelsea side this season after an impressive World Cup in Russian Federation. I think Eden is ready for 50 or 60 minutes.

With a victory at Newcastle, Sarri could become the fifth Chelsea manager to win his opening three Premier League matches, after Antonio Conte, Carlo Ancelotti, Guus Hiddink and Jose Mourinho.

"I am not anxious about the defensive phase because, when I arrive at a new team, usually I have problems with the defensive phase for two or three months".

They ended up finishing a lowly fifth and not qualifying for Champions League football for the 2018/19 Premier League season. The Spanish striker has two goals in two matches in the Premeir League, the last of which came against Arsenal .

"I am not able to play with five defenders, because we are trying to defend by looking only at the ball".

"It's not so easy in this period because we play only once a week", he said.

Christian Atsu and Jacob Murphy are both options to deputise, while DeAndre Yedlin has recovered from a knee injury to return at right-back.

"Yet they (the fans) still think they are entitled to whatever Mike Ashley has got, whatever his millions are".

Benitez, though, has urged them not to boycott games or protest during matches this season as he wants everyone to be pulling in the same direction in order to avoid relegation.

"I have to say thank you to Rafa".
