Spotify Responds To Nicki Minaj’s Allegations

Spotify Responds To Nicki Minaj’s Allegations

"He knows he doesn't have the #1 album this week", tweeted Minaj.

Meanwhile, photos of VMA prep show that Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner are supposed to be seated right behind Nicki Minaj - which would probably make for some extremely awkward small talk.

Despite being "one of the top Spotify artists of all time", Minaj claimed that Spotify behaved in a vindictive manor for premiering her music before it was on their service, taking away some of her album promotion, while continuing to heavily promote artists such as Drake, whose face recently polluted the home page of every Spotify user.

For backstory: Nicki is accusing Travis of inflating his album sales by selling the album, tour tickets, and merch as a package.

In the age of streaming, artists do all kinds of shady things to boost their album sales.

As it turned out, "Queen" came in second place to "Astroworld", which prompted Minaj to unleash a volley of tweets on Sunday that alternated between thanking fans (and the Almighty) and casting blame in a number of directions. Billboard says they'll change the rules cuz of this, so it should be changed now!'

Sarri's Tweaks Have Immediate Impact On Chelsea Fortunes
Hazard set up Marcos Alonso with 10 minutes to go to make it two wins from two Premier League games for new boss Maurizio Sarri . Speaking after the win, Hazard said : "Everybody knows what I have said after the World Cup".

Reports state that Astroworld sold approximately 223K units in the United States, while Queen only racked up an estimated 190K.

Scott and Jenner aren't the only celebrities that Minaj has had beef with DJ Akademiks over the last few days. Minaj tweeted. "Queen of the week may go to HARRIET TUBMAN!".

Will Nicki respond? We can't wait to see! However, your label and Travis Scott label are actively tryna contest and dispute what the normal reporting numbers are based on bundles and additives y'all did during the week to bolster sales.

While Astroworld featured a wide range of names from across the spectrum of hip-hop including both superstars like Drake, The Weeknd, and Migos and rising newcomers like Juice Wrld, Sheck Wes, Gunna, and Don Toliver, the "Wish You Were Here" bills Sheck Wes, Trippie Redd, and Gunna as his supporting acts.
