Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 5.1 Plus launched in India: Price, specifications

Nokia did a magnificent job optimizing the software to run on underpowered hardware during its Windows Phone days, which is why budget Lumia phones weren't laggy. Nokia will announce the price of the handset at the time of release.

HMD is now rolling out a third model in the Nokia 6 series, the Nokia 6.1 Plus. The company says India is a special market for the Nokia brand.

In short, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is HMD's most ambitious effort yet in the budget category. Some rumours have suggested that the company is planning to launch the flagship Nokia 9 on that day as well, while others suggest that it will be the Nokia 5.1 Plus. Colors are vibrant, viewing angles are excellent, and the phone doesn't have any issues with sunlight legibility. The highlight of the phone includes a glass back, and a 5.8-inch FHD+ 19:9 display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.

At this price tag, Nokia 6.1 Plus will compete against the newly launched Xiaomi Mi A2 smartphone. There wasn't any damage aside from a minor dent on the frame, but if there's ever a device that needs to be used with a case, it's this one.

Redskins to host Adrian Peterson
If Marshall isn't ready to open the season, the Redskins might want another backup to third-down back Chris Thompson . That's where Peterson comes in, though we'll have to see how much he has left in the tank.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus is the first device from Nokia to feature a notch and also sports a dual camera setup at the back. For power requirements, the phone relies on a 3,060mAh battery. When it comes to storage, the phone gets 64GB in-built memory that can also be extended with the help of a micro SD card. Nokia 5.1 Plus has 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear cameras.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus is the only Android One smartphone with the Helio P60 chipset, which is an added advantage. As a comparison, consumers in China are able to obtain the phone with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space.

Coming to the camera department, the Nokia 6.1 Plus features a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 16MP primary with f/2.0 aperture, 1.0um pixel size, EIS, dual LED flash and a secondary 5MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.2um pixel size. Here are the details, specifications, and pricing of the phone. The update also brings Google Motion support.

HMD Global-owned Nokia is all set to launch its smartphones at an event held in New Delhi.
