Maurizio Sarri believes in me, says Mateo Kovacic

Chelsea have made a flawless start to their first Premier League campaign under Maurizio Sarri but what has been less than ideal, from the Italian's perspective at least, has been the smoking ban which has been enforced in all English stadiums since 2007. I enjoyed the match for 75 minutes, not in the other 15. They will nearly certainly achieve that should they perform with the cleverness and skill in attack that did for Arsenal but, equally, they could come unstuck should they display the naivety in defence that allowed Unai Emery's side to get back into the contest before half-time. "We need to improve little things, but I think in this way we are very unsafe and can play against any team in the world".

The former Napoli coach was asked whether he wanted a cigarette as Chelsea struggled at the end of the second half, but indicated that now may be the time for him to give up smoking.

Chelsea clinched the win when Marcos Alonso became their third Spaniard to score, converting a cross from substitute Eden Hazard who came on as a substitute in the 81st minute. Now I can attack the spaces, play one-touch and go into the area for the crosses which is better for me.

PepsiCo buys fizzy drink maker SodaStream for $3.2bn
SodaStream shares jumped 9.4 per cent to close at US$142.11 in NY , while PepsiCo slipped 0.1 per cent to US$114.94. Over the years, many users have used SodaStream only for making fizzy water, without the flavoured syrups it sells.

"The best thing I've seen in the two games vs Manchester City and Chelsea from this youngster is the kind of heart and spirit and drive and somebody who continuously wants the ball", Wright told BBC Five Live.

"In terms of quality not too much [more is needed], because in the first 25 minutes we did really very well", Sarri continued. Sarri said: "No, no, I just needed the first half to end!" We have to improve which I think is normal. "We lost distances, we were not able to press or defend, we were really in trouble".

But he was given a hero's welcome when he was introduced on the hour mark at Stamford Bridge on Saturday and set up the victor in a thrilling five-goal encounter for Marcos Alonso as Chelsea went top of the embryonic Premier League table. "Let's see what happens in one or two years".
