Camila Cabello Dedicates VMAs Win to Madonna: 'I Love You So Much'

The 21-year-old won video of the year and artist of the year.

Camila Cabello poses backstage with her awards for Artist of the Year and Video of the Year for "Havana". After shouting out her fellow nominees, she turned the attention to her loyal Camilizers, telling them, "The relationship that I have with you guys is a forever thing".

Neither Mars, Drake, Gambino, Beyonce nor Jay-Z attended the awards show in New York City, which featured performances by Ariana Grande - who won best pop video for "No Tears Left to Cry", - Nicki Minaj, Aerosmith, Shawn Mendes and Travis Scott. "I'm going to be with you until the very end!"

She also acknowledged her Alex Rodriguez. Gambino's "This Is America", which tackles racism and gun violence, earned him seven nominations, while Drake, who gave away $1 million to Miami residents in his "God's Plan" clip, scored seven nods.

Jennifer Lopez looked as glamorous as ever in a sparkling look by Atelier Versace (one of several she wore throughout the evening) while others experimented with tailoring, classic ballgowns and even Latex. "My life is sweeter and better with you in it".

Either way, everyone is absolutely dying over what happened at the end of his performance - and his reaction when the song ended. Lopez also thanked her longtime manager, Benny Medina, and just for an extra dose of awws, she thanked A-Rod.

Nicki Minaj accepts the award for "Best Hip Hop Video" onstage during the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall on August 20, 2018 in New York City.

"I'm really excited to have my mom here and I'm not performing so I'm just gonna get kind of wine drunk and hopefully like not die like if I win", Cabello joked.

In 2014, her former band Fifth Harmony were awarded Artist to Watch for Miss Movin' On.

Cardi said she's been blessed with fans "that you can't buy", looking into the camera and shouting an expletive. When Minaj accepted an award moments later, she looked to Haddish and said, "Don't be coming for Fifth Harmony because Normani is that (chick)".
