Motorola P30 Looks More Like iPhone X Than iPhone X Itself

Even the wallpaper on the phone looks exactly like the abstract wash of colors you see on the iPhone X. Flip the phone over and you've got a setup that looks virtually identical to the iPhone X (even Google Image Search can't tell the difference, apparently).

It shamelessly boasts a metal and glass design with rounded corners, a sizeable notch at the top of its display, and a vertical dual camera array on its backside that's nearly indistinguishable to that found on Apple's flagship.

Motorola today launched its first smartphone with a notched display at an event held in China. As of now, the Motorola P30 is only limited to the Chinese market. Motorola and a handful of brands have stayed away from this "despicable" trend but unfortunately, they have succumbed to peer pressure with their latest P30 smartphone. It comes with gradient style design similar to Huawei smartphones, and will be available in Aurora Blue, Bright Black and Ice White colors.

Finally, the project will be "100 percent privately funded and will require zero taxpayer dollars", the post claims. The underground line is the latest eye-opening - or eye-rolling - concept introduced by Musk's The Boring Company.

The Motorola P30 has a 6.2-inch IPS LCD 2246 x 1080 px display.

The Moto P30 runs on an octa-core 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz with an Adreno 509 GPU taking care of the graphics processing. The price range has been set between $303 to $360 for different variants with 64 GB internal storage and 128 GB internal storage. It has a 12-megapixel front camera. The rear-facing camera module has a 16 MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 5 MP secondary sensor. Ever since Lenovo purchased Motorola, the company has been producing both mid-range and flagship smartphones.

- The Motorola P30 runs Lenovo's ZUI 4.0 skin on top of Android Oreo. Instead of the typical fruit logo, it gets a Motorola emblem at the rear that doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. This processor is teamed up with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of default storage space. It has been priced starting at CNY 2,099 (approx Rs 21,300) while the top end model will cost CNY 2,499 (approx Rs 25,400). While the company has officially launched the Motorola P30 today in China, the listing went live a couple of days earlier.
