Tracking the QB responses to Jalen Ramsey's trash talk

The football world woke up to the comments of Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey ripping half of the quarterbacks in the NFL, including Indianapolis Colts signal caller Andrew Luck.

And what about his guy, Blake Bortles? "I think he's a victor". I don't care one bit. They'll travel to play the Bills on November 25 in a rematch of last year's AFC Wild Card game. He called Allen "trash" and "a stupid draft pick". "I'm going to be excited about Week 1 no matter what". I think he's a victor. The most notable, perhaps, was the start as he went through most of the NFL's quarterbacks and offered his honest thoughts on them.

Ramsey ranted about almost every quarterback in the league in his interview, but didn't have all bad words to say. I'll say Odell's good. He didn't beat us. They were doing flat routes to the wide open fullback, and he's running for 20 yards down the field four times during the game. It was their fullback and their tight end on over routes. "Then when he did get in, he didn't really do that good".

The interview is part of an interesting week for Ramsey, who was suspended for the week after he screamed at media members who were videotaping a post-practice altercation between defensive ends Dante Fowler and Yannick Ngakoue.

Cipriani slapped with fine for assault
Cipriani was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning after the incident in The Royal Yacht Hotel and Spa, St Helier. Cipriani said he could have moved overseas but wanted to see if he made Eddie Jones's squad for the South Africa tour.

Ramsey's comments will certainly make waves around the league, but if previous year is any indication, he's more than up to the challenges ahead. In a GQ article, Ramsey said that Joe Flacco "sucks", that Matt Ryan is "overrated", that Ben Roethlisberger is "decent", and that Dak Prescott is just "OK". All in all, that's quite a week for a team almost reached the Super Bowl and is one of the NFL's most highly regarded for 2018.

Jalen Ramsey may be many things, but "unaccomplished" is not one of them.

"The greatest threat the Jaguars face", Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman writes, "is believing their own hype".
