Sergio Ramos takes swipe at Klopp over final comments

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has been on media duty ahead of Los Merengues UEFA Super Cup showdown with cross-city rivals Atletico and has been, typically, value for money and unafraid to throw a few digs across the continent.

"It's not the first final he's lost, (maybe) he wants to use that as an excuse for losing".

"Some of us have been operating at a very high level for many years, not sure Klopp can say the same".

Klopp has regularly had a pop at Ramos for his altercation with Mo Salah which left the Egyptian with a dislocated shoulder and forced him off the pitch in the first half of the 3-1 defeat, and the Real Madrid skipper has responded.

Ramos, meanwhile, has won four Champions Leagues, La Liga four times, the 2010 World Cup and two European Championship titles with Spain.

It was also revealed that the 32-year-old had an altercation with goalkeeper, Loris Karius who later was deemed to have suffered a concussion during the game.

Philadelphia Eagles: 3 reasons team is wasting time on Christian Hackenberg
Long gone are the days when Hackenberg was viewed as a promising prospect with NFL-caliber traits. He left Penn State after his junior year and the Jets gambled on him in the second round.

It's been almost three months since Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 3-1 in Kiev and it seems that two of the game's protagonists just aren't ready to move on.

And after Klopp suggested that Ramos has a history of shithousery (which he does), the Spaniard hit back, hinting that Klopp's poor record in finals was the reason Liverpool didn't win the game.

It is an incident that Klopp is still talking about, as the Reds coach accused Ramos of being a "wrestler" as opposed to a soccer player in an interview with The Telegraph last month.

"When we voted on the best managers I voted for him, so he can relax", Ramos said.

But Ramos said: "I have no intention of hurting a player deliberately".
