Fan launched a GoFundMe for the Broncos to cut Paxton Lynch

Lynch's short National Football League career has been marked by twice losing a position battle to former seventh-round pick Trevor Siemien, and he hasn't impressed in four starts filling in for Siemien, either.

The page was created on Saturday, the day of Lynch's disappointing showing, and as of 11 a.m. ET Monday has raised just $55 from eight donors.

Broncos fans likely won't have to put up with Lynch much longer, though. Chad Kanoff finished up by completing 3 of 5 passes for 66 yards, including a 14-yard touchdown toss to Bryce Williams.

Veteran quarterback Geno Smith, who is trying to win the job of backing up Phillip Rivers, threw for 218 yards and one touchdown as Los Angeles lost to Arizona in Phoenix.

Lynch, the former first-rounder twice beaten out by Siemian in Denver, was just 6 of 11 for 24 yards and an interception. One fan has even launched a GoFundMe campaign with the sole goal of helping the Broncos release Lynch.

But of all the excitement the Vikings displayed on the field in Denver, which three plays were Minnesota's absolute best on Saturday?

Turkey lira crashes as Trump piles on pressure
Global markets are in turmoil on Friday, with a historic plunge in the Turkish lira at the center of the chaos. It is host to an X-band radar, a critical part of the Western alliance's missile defence system again Iran.

General manager John Elway moved up five spaces, from 31st to 26th, to draft Lynch in 2016. "I'm afraid to do it".

Still, for a team that struggled to protect all of three of its starting quarterbacks last season, had too many ill-timed penalties and uneven play overall behind center, it certainly wasn't the unveiling of the new playbook they wanted.

"If they saw enough from Paxton Lynch, why would they even be entertaining the idea?"

Aug 11, 2018; Denver, CO, USA; Minnesota Vikings running back Roc Thomas (32) carries the ball between the tackles of Denver Broncos linebacker Josey Jewell (47) and defensive end Adam Gotsis (99) in the first quarter at Broncos Stadium at Mile High. Lynch's first pass attempt was intercepted and his second attempt went for no gain.

"Obviously I'm upset", he said.

Case Keenum completed only 1 of 4 passes for the Broncos.
