Chelsea's Tiemoue Bakayoko a loan target for Milan

The 23-year-old's stock has plummeted during his brief time at Stamford Bridge and he is set to spend the season on loan with Serie A side Milan for 2018-19.

Although Willian didn't start Sunday's Community Shield match against Manchester City, a 2-0 defeat, he is thought to be in Sarri's plans for his debut season in charge.

Milan can not pay a fee for Bakayoko this summer due to Financial Fair Play restrictions but have proposed a loan deal.

The Chelsea boss also has the likes of Jorginho, N'Golo Kante and Cesc Fabregas to call upon in the middle, with Bakayoko's minutes limited if he were to stay in west London this term.

The Brazilian was late in turning up for pre-season, which new manager Maurizio Sarri was not too happy about.
