What Kelvin Benjamin said about Cam Newton's pre-game chat

What Kelvin Benjamin said about Cam Newton's pre-game chat

In fact, things may have escalated.

Earlier this week, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin threw the Carolina Panthers and quarterback Cam Newton under the bus saying he should have never gone to the team in the first place.

It wasn't clear how much love was on the table Thursday when Newton approached Benjamin on the field at New Era Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y., but the quarterback appeared to proffer a handshake that was rejected.

Benjamin played with Newton for three and a half seasons in Carolina, though one of those was spent on the sidelines due to an ACL tear.

Manchester United linked with shock deadline day move for Diego Godin
And The Sun say Manchester United manager Mourinho is livid at Godin's agent, who he believes led the club on. But Express Sport understands there is no chance of the Croatia global moving to Old Trafford.

"I mean, I felt like I would've been even more successful if ..." I don't know, man ... Anybody! QBs with knowledge, who know how to place a ball and give you a better chance to catch the ball. Nothing to see here, just a few position battles.

While Benjamin clearly didn't want to talk about the situation, Newton didn't either, literally. He responded on social media in his Instagram story. Looking back on it, I should've just been drafted by somebody else.

The meeting comes after Benjamin made comments criticizing his former team, Carolina, and quarterback, Newton.

When Benjamin said Newton was an inaccurate passer last week, the quarterback didn't seem bothered by it.
