Sony launches limited-edition PlayStation 4 Pro

The latest limited edition PlayStation 4 Pro celebrates the 500 million sales landmark with an exclusive gold-on-transparent-blue style.

In celebration of selling 500 million PlayStations, PS2s, PS3s, and PS4s over the years, Sony is releasing a 500 Million Limited Edition PS4 Pro. At the time of reporting this, Sony India hasn't announced if it's coming to India just yet.

Other nice cosmetic touches include a matching translucent box, blue velvet bag and etched copper plate with the serial number of the console. Keep your eyes peeled for these "extra special" serial numbers like 09995 (U.S. Launch Date of the original PlayStation - September 9th, 1995), 01115 (U.S. launch date of PS4 - November 15, 2013) and 01013 (U.S. launch date of PS VR - October 13, 2016).

500 Million PlayStation® systems sold means 500 Million adventures.

Few companies enjoy a limited edition anything more than Sony enjoys a limited edition PlayStation, and the Japanese company is at it again.
