New Jersey Woman Pays It Forward, Picks Up Keith Urban’s Wawa Tab

"Then, he asked a young lady for $5 and I thought, 'This is it.' So I said, 'No I'll get it'".

"For three years, I have made a resolution to once a week treat someone at Wawa", Reed wrote in a Facebook post that was put on Twitter by one of her former students.

So this past Friday, when the customer in front of her at the Wawa on Route 541 in Medford was having an issue at the register, she jumped at the opportunity to help. Do people tell you that you look like Keith Urban?'.

He was in town ahead of his Friday night concert in Camden, NJ.

A friend gave Reed $20 for her Wawa acts of kindness. Really? Then where's Nicole?

When she told him that, the man said, well, he is Keith Urban.

When Urban pointed out his bodyguard, Reed "just went to pieces" and asked if she could take a picture with him. Why he didn't have enough cash on him to buy a coffee is a bit unclear, but then again, who among us hasn't found themselves unexpectedly short a few dollars while trying to make a purchase? Reed says she got snippy with the star.

The generous customer was Ruth Reed, a substitute teacher in South Jersey who happened to be in the store at the same time as Urban. Though an American country music star, Urban famously hails from New Zealand. Still, she managed to snap a photo with Urban.
