Google Pixel 3 XL Production Unit Leaks

Google Pixel 3 XL Production Unit Leaks

Google Pixel 3 release date could be October 4, 2018, according to a screenshot shared by YouTuber Brandon Lee from This Is Tech Today channel (Google Pixel 2 / Bloomberg).

Google's upcoming Pixel 3 XL, which will arrive this fall to do battle with Apple's larger iPhone, has leaked out early in a series of unboxing photos. To make things even more interesting, we now have another leak that puts Google's upcoming Pixel 3 XL front and center. Why they received this Google Pixel 3 XL in the mail, we can not be entirely sure.

The back shows the usual single camera setup and fingerprint reader. Now, due to numerous leaks, we have a solid idea of what the device will look like.

The photos also reveal some of the phone's specifications: Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 1440 x 2960 display resolution, Adreno 630 GPU, and it'll all run on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

Investigation into death of baby found in East River; parents unknown
Police are investigating after a baby boy died shortly after being pulled from the water near South Street Seaport. Her husband, Monte, waded into shallow water near the Manhattan shoreline, retrieved the baby and started CPR.

In the box, we see a pair of ear buds that share a similar design to Google's Pixel Buds, but they are wired (with USB-C) and lack the "G" logo on the outside.

Pixel customers might finally get headphones in the box.

Google isn't changing much about the design on the back of the phone. That's definitely a nice improvement from last year's Pixel 2 devices, where you'd get a USB-C/3.5mm adapter for the earphones.

The notch contains what appears to be some sensors, a front-facing camera, and an earpiece. The Pixel 3 is likely to feature a screen aspect ratio of 18:9, whereas the Pixel 3 XL could have a 19:9 aspect ratio thanks to the notch. The channel posted images and video of a pre-release Pixel 3 XL unboxing, including information about specs, how the notch works, and in-box accessories.
