Chris Pratt Film Cowboy Ninja Viking Pulled From Release Schedule

Just over a week after reportedly casting Priyanka Chopra as its female lead, Cowboy Ninja Viking - the film adaptation of the comic book also starring Chris Pratt and to be directed by Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad) - has been delayed indefinitely by its studio, Universal Pictures, according to a new report. Despite this latest setback with Universal, Pratt is set to reprise his role as Owen Grady in the studio's upcoming Jurassic World 3.

It's been a crappy week if you're a member of the Guardians Of The Galaxy, to say the least. The film was earlier scheduled to release on June 28, 2019. This meant shooting would need to start soon.

While the film is now delayed indefinitely, according to Collider it's said to still be very much in active development. This new release date will serve to accommodate the production schedule that is in place.

The novel is about an assassin who posses the toughest skills of a Cowboy, a Ninja, and a Viking; hence the name. The movie will be action heavy, while still aiming for a PG-13 rating. The hard-edged actioner laced with attitude is based on the Image Comics graphic novel by AJ Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rossmo.

Malaysia's former PM Najib to be charged with money laundering
Mahathir said anyone who wants to claim ownership of the yacht must show proof that the vessel was not bought with stolen funds. The charges are related to the RM42mil that allegedly went from SRC International into Najib's personal bank accounts.

Priyanka signed the film after walking out of Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, 10 days before her portion of the shoot was to begin. The script has been penned by Dan Mazeau, Ryan Engle, Craig Mazin, Paul Wernick and DavidReese.

Chris Pratt isn't having much luck lately.

Something's very wrong with Cowboy Ninja Viking. The movie is being looked at as a potential franchise in this time of prequels and sequels. This was before he was the [Cowboy Ninja Viking] we know.
