But, Gianluca Di claim Barcelona have made the first move to sign Pogba by offering a player the club knows United would like.

After five seasons without a Premier League title, the pressure is on Manchester United and Jose Mourinho to put up a real fight for the big prize but major questions remain over his team.

"The World Cup takes one month", the Manchester United manager explained recently. However, the Catalan giants face a massive roadblock in their pursuit, in the form of Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola.

There is no chance of him being allowed to leave with 48 hours left until the transfer window closes for Premier League sides.

Although Pogba wanted to leave, he also did not intend to ever go to war with his club over it either.

The Portuguese is open to selling a player that he criticised for not returning to the United's pre-season tour of the United States after the birth of his second child.

The agent of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba believes he can broker a £100million transfer deal to sell the France worldwide to Barcelona. With the transfer deadline approaching, they may be working on several deals at the same time to make sure that Jose Mourinho gets the central defender he has requested.

But it appears that Pogba has been stirred by Barcelona's interest. Pogba also is believed to be open to the move. For one he is worth much more than Barcelona's initial offer.

Keown, who made 310 Premier League appearances for the Gunners between 1993 and 2004, believes the club will opt against making a move for the World Cup victor because of the hefty price tag that Aubameyang arrived for in January, believed to be just around the £60m mark.

Leicester City are adamant over retaining defender Harry Maguire and have told Manchester United he is not available at any price.

Juventus, the club Pogba played for in between his two stints at Old Trafford, are said to be keen to have him back.
