The Full Details Of The Browns’ Corey Coleman Trade Are Out

Before Corey Coleman arrives at St. John Fisher, he must pass a physical in Buffalo to complete the trade with Cleveland.

The 27-year-old has only two accrued National Football League seasons because of suspensions that have cost him 56 out of 96 possible games in his career.

The former first-round pick of the Browns was acquired by the Bills for an undisclosed future draft pick. The pick was part of the haul the Browns received from the Philadelphia Eagles in the trade for the second overall pick that same season (Carson Wentz). Both Callaway and third-year wideout Rashard Higgins have looked quite impressive during training camp so far, which could have been one of the many reasons that the Browns chose to deal Coleman.

Coleman wasn't at practice Monday, but the team hopes to have him Tuesday.

Buffalo was desperate for more talent and depth in their wide receiver group. Simply put, Coleman didn't have time to make it to Pittsford for the session. Buffalo traded up to select Josh Allen with the No. 7 pick in the draft and also signed former Bengals backup AJ McCarron in free agency.

Coleman played in nine games last season for the Browns, making eight starts.

In his first 29 National Football League games, Wentz completed 644 of his 1,047 attempts (61.5 percent) for 7,078 yards and 49 touchdowns against 21 interceptions.
