Toby Alderweireld Set To Sign For Manchester United 'In Next 48 Hours'

Marco Silva's side have been frustrated over the way they have been dealt with in the negotiating process, feeling that they were used and then discarded when United's interest emerged.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is a known admirer of Alderweireld's and the clubs CEO Ed Woodward has been trying to broker a deal for the defender since May. However, with Tottenham demanding as much as £75 million for his services, the 20-time English champions were dissuaded from making a move for the Belgian.

Manchester United have held an interest in the Colombia global as Jose Mourinho looks to bring in a new centre-back before the end of the transfer window, but it appears that Everton are leading the race to sign the 23-year-old.

However, Tottenham have made a decision to relax their stance on the asking price for Alderweireld.

Mina had agreed personal terms with United but according to Sport, the 23-year-old is now heading to Everton.

Other witnesses said the quake got stronger over several seconds and rattled windows and doors in their frames. Reports of quake of magnitude 7.0 in Indonesia's Lombok island came in on Sunday evening.

New Everton signing Richarlison is known for his activity on social media, and he may have just dropped a big hint over the future of reported Toffees target Yerry Mina.

Everton completed the signing of Digne, a 25-year-old French left-back who has previously played Lille, Paris Saint-Germain and Roma, for close to £18 million pound last week.

Even though it looked fairly straightforward from there it seems something stopped the transfer happening with the summer window set to shut within the week.

With the two Premier League clubs having rescinded their offers, it now leaves Mina with no suitors at the current time. Hopefully, the impending capture of the Tottenham superstar puts the Portuguese in a good mood heading into United's first Premier League game of the season against Leicester City in the upcoming week.
