Demi Lovato 'serious' about rehab

Paris Jackson, a sober woman, is lashing out at reports that suggest she's headed down a dark road toward rehab after Demi Lovato's reported overdose and hospitalization.

The rehab conversation had been delayed because of Lovato's complications, TMZ reported, but by Thursday "going straight to rehab" appeared to be the next step, according to Us Weekly.

In a 2016 interview on CBS Sunday Morning, Lovato said her four years of sobriety was more important than her career.

Lovato was found unconscious in her bed her Hollywood Hills home following a night of partying on July 24. He quickly jumped into action.

Certain sources have revealed that when the singer realized that she had almost lost her life, she was shattered and broke down.

Multiple sources said that the singer agreed to go for a treatment last Tuesday. "There was blood on her pillow. and her airways may have been clogged", TMZ reported. Our sources say the bodyguard administered some sort of first aid to keep Demi alive before paramedics arrived. Although, she was suffering from fever and also there were signs of an infection. When EMTs arrived they gave her Narcan, which reverses the effects of an opioid overdose. Regarding the "Heart Attack" singer's journey toward sobriety, the gossip rag alleged that her family made a decision to hold off on discussing the topic of rehab as she recovered to avoid upsetting her "with something that might trigger conflict".

Lovato's upcoming tour dates have not been cancelled at this time, according to her website. "It's her choice to go to rehab". She has eight shows scheduled in South America through the end of November.
