EA's Origin Access Premier subscription service is now live

EA's Origin Access Premier subscription service is now live

Titles from third-party publishers are also available. Besides some big titles coming out over the next few months, they're adding a brand new subscription service, Origin Access Premier, that is ideal for players that want early access to some of the biggest games coming out in 2018. But interestingly, the storefront for Origin Access Premier lists 128 vault titles as opposed to 122 titles for Basic members.

The existing tier of Origin Access is now known as Origin Access Basic - which costs Rs. 315 per month ($5) or Rs. 1,990 per year ($30) - for clear distinction between the two.

For instance, a subscription gets you a 10% discount on pretty much anything you buy through Origin.

EA also revealed the first batch of games available exclusively for Origin Access Premier users.

Bezel-less display, FaceID to debut on next-gen iPad Pro
That has come and gone this year with no announcement, but nevertheless, we might not have a long wait for the new iPad Pro. The report citing anonymous sources said that the upcoming iPad Pro will ditch home button and sport Face ID technology.

Even if you decide to only subscribe for a few months, it's still worth trying out for a bit since you'll save quite a bit if you decide not to purchase a game and opt instead to "borrow" it from the service. In short, members will have access to every EA PC release, as well as being able to play new releases early in their entirety. But if you're a dyed in the wool EA fan, the free games probably make it worthwhile as is - and the early games are a good bonus.

The following upcoming EA titles on PC will also be available for members to play any time, before anyone else - Madden NFL 19 Hall of Fame Edition (August 2, 2018), Federation Internationale de Football Association 19 Ultimate Edition (September 20, 2018), Battlefield V Deluxe Edition (October 11, 2018), and Anthem Legion of Dawn Edition (February 15, 2019).

Check it out and see what you think!
