SpaceX Falcon 9 deploys Telstar 19V satellite to orbit

The imminent July 25 assignment will feature an endeavor to catch the payload fairing of Falcon 9-the protective nose cone that covers satellites during launch-with superfast boat of SpaceX, "Mr. Steven", as per media reports.

Another launch is planned for Wednesday, when Falcon 9 will put 10 Iridium satellites into space.

This year, the Elon Musk-founded company launched its maiden voyage of the huge Falcon Heavy rocket, which is effectively three Falcon 9 boosters strapped together. Basically, this means the booster will find its way home to land at a selected site a few miles from where it launched.

The block 5 debuted in June, along with an upgraded version of the rocket's second stage.

This time around, it will be Canada's Telstar 19V satellite that makes the trip to high, geostationary orbit atop a "Block 5" Falcon 9 rocket.

Pep Guardiola: 'Almost impossible' for Manchester City to break own records
Phillip Cocu, the new head coach of Turkish giants Fenerbahce, has contacted his former Barcelona teammate Pep Guardiola to request one of Manchester City's brightest young talents on loan, Turkish source Fotomac claims.

The us private aerospace company SpaceX tonight, July 22, successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket which should put into orbit the canadian communication satellite Telstar 19 Vantage, created to transmit broadband signal in North and South America, said the press service of the company. "The satellite has a mix of Ka- and Ku-band capacity". The company has one prototype satellite in orbit from Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd. Partners OmniAccess, a maritime connectivity company, Australian fleet operator Optus Satellite and Global Eagle Entertainment, an aeronautical, maritime and remote connectivity provider, are all testing the service.

As previously announced, Hughes Network Systems LLC (Hughes) has signed a 15-year agreement for Telstar 19 VANTAGE Ka-band capacity that Hughes will utilize to expand its broadband satellite services for consumers and businesses in five South American countries.

Launching in the early-morning hours of July 22, 2018, SpaceX's Block 5 Falcon 9 sent the Telstar 19 VANTAGE satellite into space.

Telesat hopes to follow up Sunday's launch with a second Falcon 9 flight in August to boost the Telstar 18V relay station into orbit.
