Dhadak eyeing Rs 30 crore in first weekend box office collections

Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak may not have managed to fully capture the essence of Nagraj Manjule's Sairat, but it is following the Marathi film's footsteps when it comes to the box office collection.

Spain drops intl arrest warrants for Puigdemont
Rebellion carries a maximum prison sentence of 30 years in Spain, while misuse of public funds is punishable by up to 12 years. The AP said the Spanish judge overseeing the case also was revoking the worldwide arrest warrants against the six politicians.

Actress Janhvi Kapoor who made her Bollywood debut with 'Dhadak' has said she does not feel she has become a star with the success of the film but she is just trying to be an actor. "I got the best compliment from my director Shashank Khaitan when he told me that he is proud of me". Although many felt that the movie is not up to the mark of the original, Janhvi and Ishaan's fresh chemistry is being appreciated by the audience. The film collected Rs 8.71 crore on Day 1 and Rs 11.07 crore on Day 2, pushing its grand total to Rs 19.75 crore. Most of the reviews laid confidence on Janhvi Kapoor that she showed the promise that she can improve. However, in Nizam / Andhra and CP Berar circuits, as per boxofficeindia.com, Dhadak received a better opening than big films like Akshay Kumar's Padman, Ajay Devgn's Raid, and Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor-starrer Veere Di Wedding. The public cheered at the sight of Ishaan and Janhvi at the theatre. "We had faith in the kind of honesty and hard work we made this film with".
