Nokia X5 Smartphone with Dual Cameras & 19:9 Display Launched in China

HMD Global, the company that holds the license to manufacture and sell Nokia smartphones, had launched Nokia 3 in 2017. While these three new devices are recently listed on the company's Indian website, there is no official announcement to date. Ajey Mehta, Vice President and Country Head - India, HMD Global, said "India is one of our top markets and Indian consumers, a top priority for us". Customers purchasing the Nokia 3.1 Android One smartphone from retail outlets can get 10% cashback on recharges and bill payments by scanning the PayTM mall QR code.

After launching it in the Chinese market, speculations signal towards the possible launch of Nokia 6.1 Plus (X6) sometime around the month of September in India. Consumers will also get two movie cashback vouchers worth Rs 250, which can be redeemed against booking minimum of two tickets on Paytm. ICICI Bank credit or debit card customers will also get a 5% cashback. On recharge of Rs 149 pack, users will get 1GB data per day, unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.

HMD Global is shipping this device with stock Android 8.1 Oreo, but users will have access to timely monthly security updates.

On the front, the Nokia 3.1 will flash a 5.2-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1440x720 and Corning Gorilla Glass. The all-new Nokia 3.1 Android One will be available in three color hues, namely Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome and White/Iron. It is now powered by a Mediatek 6750N octa-core processor that comes clubbed with a Mali T860 GPU. Moreover, the handset also comes with up to 64GB of inbuilt storage that can expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

When it comes to the imaging department, the latest Nokia smartphone flaunts a dual-camera setup at its rear with a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor. On the front it has an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree field of view. A 3060mAh battery powers the smartphone from within rendering a decent backup to it. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
