Police say two other women were arrested along with Daniels early Wednesday.

The arrest report says four undercover officers entered the club Wednesday at 10:00 investigate complaints about prostitution and drugs. In May, Trump said Daniels was paid to stop "false and extortionist accusations". Trump has denied it.

A defamation lawsuit was also filed in April, alleging the President tried to tarnish her reputation and credibility by dismissing her claim a man threatened her in 2011, when she was ready to go public about her alleged affair with Trump.

Murphy said it's possible police were "bypassing" Daniels' arrest if she'd committed a "bondable offense", meaning she could pay a bond and be released from jail until her case is decided.
