MLB All-Star Final Vote: Two Days Left To Decide Final Roster Spot

MLB All-Star Final Vote: Two Days Left To Decide Final Roster Spot

Another All-Star game roster is released, and another round of players are scratching their heads wondering why they were left off the team.

Not counting any players who withdraw from the event or any potential injuries, the rosters for the 2018 MLB All-Star Game are pretty much set.

Cleveland third baseman Jose Ramirez will start for the American League, joined on the roster by teammates Corey Kluber, Trevor Bauer, Francisco Lindor and Michael Brantley. It's the second All-Star selection for Springer. As the current collective bargaining agreement between Major League Baseball and MLBPA states, the victor of the game will not earn home field advantage in the World Series as it did in the past.

J.D. Martinez will also be a starter in the All-Star Game as Designated Hitter. During his time with the Legends in 2010, he recorded 31 doubles, three triples, 15 home runs and 64 RBI in 88 games.

In the National League, the Chicago Cubs will send two players to start: second baseman Javier Baez and catcher Wilson Contreras. He improved his numbers during 2012, recording a 14-4 record in 26 games pitching 134 innings.

Here's all you need to know about the 2018 All-Star Futures Game. Snell's 5.819 hits allowed per nine innings is third-fewest in baseball, too.

Major League Baseball (MLB) is the most historic professional sports league in the United States and consists of 30 member clubs in the US and Canada, representing the highest level of professional baseball. This will be Matias' first Futures Game and is the lone representative of the Kansas City Royals. All four umpires will be on the field for the T-Mobile Home Run Derby on Monday, July 16th. The 34-year-old Markakis played in 1,928 career Major League Baseball games before earning his first All-Star bid, which is a record.

The future is now - well, at least for a night, anyway, at the 2018 MLB Futures Game in Washington, D.C.

Right now, Aguilar is the best player on National League's best team.
