Hawks acquire Jeremy Lin from Nets

Additionally, the Nets will send the Hawks a 2025 second-round pick and the right to swap second-round picks in 2023, according to Woj.

The Nuggets, who also reportedly just agreed to a one-year deal with Isaiah Thomas, will waive Whitehead, according to Wojnarowski.

The Nets will acquire Kenneth Faried, Darrell Arthur, a protected 2019 first round pick and a future second round pick from the Denver Nuggets.

Now, Lin will have to find room in Atlanta, where point guard Dennis Schroder was the Hawks' leading scorer last season.

China vows retaliation for latest USA tariff threat
US President Donald Trump ordered his government to prepare tariffs on a further US$200bn of imports from China on Monday. On Wall Street, futures for the Dow Jones industrial average and Standard & Poor's 500 index were up 0.4 percent.

As for the other deal, the Nuggets freed up $21 million in salary and potentially save $43 million in payroll and luxury tax next season, Wojnarowski reported.

Wojnarowski reports that as part of the deal, Atlanta and Brooklyn will exchange future second-round picks. A hamstring injury limited him to 36 games in the 2016-17 season. He ruptured the patella tendon in his right knee during the Nets' opener last season, and while he was out Spencer Dinwiddie stepped in and became one of the NBA's most improved players.

An eight-year veteran, Lin has career averages of 12.0 points, 4.5 assists and 2.9 rebounds.
