Charges against Stormy Daniels dropped

Police alleged Daniels pressed her breasts into the face of a patron who turned out to be an undercover officer and also fondled two other patrons, landing her in jail for violating an OH law that prohibits an employee who regularly appears nude or seminude from touching patrons on the premises of a sexually oriented business.

Charges were dropped against adult film star Stormy Daniels on Thursday after an OH strip club arrest that her lawyer slammed as a "politically motivated" setup against the woman suing President Donald Trump. Under Ohio law, a dancer at a sexually oriented business is barred from touching anyone but a family member when nude or semi-nude. Avenatti tweeted she will enter a plea of "not guilty" on all charges, saying the whole situation "reeks of desperation".

The undercover officers said in the report that Clifford "grabbed" them one at a time, "forcing" their faces into her chest.

USA media tweeted a mugshot of Ms Daniels, purportedly from the Franklin County Sheriff's Office in Columbus. Court papers said the law couldn't be enforced because Daniels has only appeared once at the Columbus club and the law states it's for regular performers.

Stormy Daniels is pictured during an interview with Anderson Cooper about her alleged affair with Donald Trump.

In April, Daniels filed suit in federal court in NY charging that Trump had defamed her. But less than 12 hours later, the California lawyer said in another tweet that all charges against Clifford, who goes by the stage name Stormy Daniels, had been dropped.

In the US state of Alaska crashed a small plane, on Board of which were ten passengers and the pilot. Weather conditions so far reportedly prohibited reaching the site.

Prosecutors say the "touching" statute only applies to strippers who "regularly appear" at the establishment.

Police alleged Daniels made contact with a female undercover police officer as she performed. "Are you kidding me?" he wrote. He then asked why law enforcement resources are being used for "sting operations" like this.

Avenatti also shared the news of Daniels' arrest early Thursday morning. Daniels danced on stage at the Siren Club but what she didn't know was that four vice squad cops, working undercover, were in the audience, watching her every move. "There has to be higher priorities".

He also said that there was going to be a change of plans in Stormy's performance and that she was looking for a different venue to perform at in Columbus, although she hasn't confirmed that information herself yet.

OH authorities dropped charges against adult film star Stormy Daniels, her lawyer said Thursday, just hours after the adult film star linked to President Donald Trump was arrested during a performance at a Columbus strip club. A person who answered the phone at the club declined to comment.

Just days before the 2016 election, Mr Cohen paid Daniels $130,000 (£98,400) in exchange for her silence. Mr Trump denies all allegations.
