Stormy Daniels Arrested At Ohio Strip Club

Early Thursday, Daniels' attorney, Michael Avenatti, tweeted that the arrest "was a setup & politically motivated".

NBC News have posted a video online of what they say is Ms Daniels arriving at Jackson Pike Correctional Center in handcuffs.

CNN has reached out to the Columbus Police Department for more details. Daniels was arrested by several Columbus police officers after she also allegedly fondled the breasts of female patrons and held the face of a female officer into her chest, WBNS-TV first reported. "We will fight all bogus charges", Avenatti tweeted.

An Ohio law prohibits anyone who isn't a family member to touch a nude or semi-nude dancer.

She fondled a third officer's buttocks and breasts, according to the documents.

Stormy Daniels has been arrested in OH while performing a strip show at Sirens Gentleman's Club in Columbus.

Avenatti said his client was taken into custody while performing at a strip club in Columbus.

Daniels - who was paid $130,000 in hush money over her alleged 2006 affair with President Trump and is now fighting the validity of a non-disclosure agreement she signed - was bailed out of jail early Thursday. "Are you kidding me?" he wrote. "There has to be higher priorities". We also expect that she will be charged with a misdemeanor for allowing 'touching.' We will vehemently contest all charges.

Daniels was reportedly headlining a performance at the Sirens Gentlemen's Club in Columbus, Ohio. He was married to Melania Trump at the time and has denied Daniel's claim.

Daniels is suing Trump and his former personal lawyer Michael Cohen to nullify a 2016 non-disclosure agreement preventing her from speaking out about the affair she says she had with Trump in 2006.

Porn actress Stormy Daniels was arrested Thursday and charged with violating a controversial and conservative-backed OH state law called the Community Defense Act, which prevents adult dancers from touching customers, and vice versa.

After denying knowledge of the payment, Trump admitted in May that his longtime lawyer, Cohen, was reimbursed through a monthly retainer for a $130,000 payment made to Daniels in 2016 to stop what Trump called "false and extortionist accusations" about a decade-old affair.
