Sergio Ramos sends message to Cristiano Ronaldo over Juventus transfer

Real Madrid announced Tuesday on its website it has agreed to sell the superstar forward to Juventus.

Madrid's all-time leading goalscorer leaves the club after winning the UEFA Champions League four times in the past five years.

Speaking after his unveiling at Sassuolo on Friday, Boateng stated that the arrival of the five-time UEFA Champions League victor will add much more value to the league.

Ronaldo, 33, joined Spanish giants Madrid from Premier League club Manchester United in 2009 for a then world record £80 million (Dh390m).

"I can only give enormous thanks to this club, these fans and this city".

"I have had fabulous team-mates on the field and in the dressing room, I have felt the warmth of an incredible crowd and together we have won three Champions Leagues in a row and four Championships in five years".

Juventus will pay Real Madrid a 100 million euro transfer fee ($117.3 million), according to the Guardian, just the seventh transfer fee of at least 100 million euros in world soccer history.

The father and daughter have recovered since their March 4 poisoning. A tweet by police said, "the public should not be alarmed by this".

The former Real Madrid man will sign a four-year contract in Turin and will command the highest salary ever seen in Italian football - by some distance.

Cristiano Ronaldo already won the hearts of Juventus fans before even signing for them.

"These years at Real Madrid, and in this city of Madrid, have been possibly the happiest of my life", Ronaldo wrote in an open letter published by the club. The Real Madrid president is ready to make a straight swap between the players this summer, and utilise the interest the Red Devils have shown in the Welsh International for the past few summers.

His transfer signals the end of an era in Spanish football, Ronaldo's rivalry with Lionel Messi officially brought to an end after nine years of brilliance.

Although Portugal got knocked out of World Cup 2018 earlier than many expected, he led his country to victory at Euro 2016 despite getting injured in the final.

Ronaldo scored four goals to take his tally to 85 for his country and break Ferenc Puskas' record as Europe's all-time leading worldwide scorer.

Ronaldo made his debut for Sporting Lisbon when he was 17.
