Kylie Jenner is set to become the youngest-ever billionaire at 21

The young mum, who launched Kylie Cosmetics in 2016, is about to become the youngest-ever "self-made" billionaire, according to Forbes, as her empire is worth $900 million (£678 million).

She has a handful of full time employees, a factory in China and her marketing and finances are managed by the Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner.

Kylie ranks at 27th position on the list, followed by singer Taylor Swift at 60th position at 28 years old.

In just two years, since Kylie Cosmetics launched with just a $29 (£22) lip kit - a lipstick and lip liner - the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has gone on to sell more than $630 million (£475 million) worth of make up. "I don't want to do it with anyone else", Kylie told Forbes.

Following the release of Kylie's feature, proud sister Kim Kardashian West took to Twitter to congratulate her on making the cover. "It could easily be an instant game-changing acquisition for any company on the hunt for a winning brand with a younger customer", senior VP or merchandising at Ulta Tara Simon said.

One person wrote, "Everyone is hating on Kylie because Forbes said she was a self-made billionaire, but the truth is that half of you would never be able to do what she has done, regardless of the position you were born into".

Trump’s order for OPEC to reduce prices is insulting - Iranian oil minister
Earlier this week, Trump lashed out at OPEC, accusing the oil organization of failing to help the USA to reduce domestic gasoline prices.

As readers know, the gorgeous 21-year-old influencer has gained fame-and cash-from her wildly popular Kylie Cosmetics brand, as well as from her Instagram style and short-lived reality show. Within the next year, she's set to become the youngest self-made billionaire ever, besting Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Snapchat king Evan Spiegel.

In a video interview with the same magazine, Kylie says she was inspired to create these lips kits due to her own insecurity about her own lips.

"Ever since I was in sixth grade, I would wear purple eye shadow", Jenner says. "I turned to makeup to help me feel more confident". Jenner owns 100 per cent of it.

Forbes reports that Kylie Cosmetics is now worth almost $800 million (R10.7 billion) and Jenner owns 100% of the company.

Meanwhile, Kim, 37, has been in the reality TV business for most of Kylie's life-and she still hasn't become quite as rich!

"Maybe one day [I'll] pass this on to Stormi", she exclaims.
