Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ Leak Reveals Samsung’s ‘Wide-Angle’ Secret

Well, you can scratch part of that rumor.

South Korean telecom giant Samsung Electronics on Friday flagged a 5.2 percent rise in second quarter operating profit from a year earlier, missing analyst estimates.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S10 in February 2019.

The new phone is expected to have a 6.38-inch display, slightly bigger than the current model's 6.32-inches.

Korean business news site The Bell has it from multiple unnamed sources that Samsung is developing samples for three Galaxy S10 devices referred to internally as Beyond 0, Beyond 1, and Beyond 2, which are codenames we've seen several times before.

According to the publication, the Galaxy S10's top model could have the 12-megapixel Dual Aperture lens of the Galaxy S9 as the primary rear camera, with a 123-degree 16 MP (f/1.9) wide angle lens flanking it on one side and a 13 MP f/2.4 lens on the other.

JK Rowling mocked Donald Trump for spelling error on Twitter
Over an hour later, Trump deleted the tweet and posted a new one, this time with the correct spelling. If there's anyone who knows a thing or two about writing, it's bestselling Harry Potter novelist J.K.

The disappointing quarter brings an end to a record-breaking earnings streak for Samsung that began in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Rumours of the existence of a foldable Samsung Galaxy phone have been doing the rounds for a while now but it was unsure where it would fit in the whole Samsung line.

The FOD module is more expensive to make.

Competition from cheaper Chinese brands like Xiaomi Corp (1810.HK) and Huawei have already seen Samsung lose market share in China and India, the world's top smartphone markets. Samsung Display will then attach the FOD module to the OLED screen.

The report suggests that the Galaxy X will pack a large battery setup. We're sure that decision has nothing to do with news that Apple plans to launch three new iPhone models later this summer, including a new entry-level model.
