Asus Zenfone 5Z with Snapdragon 845 SoC & 6GB/8GB RAM Launched in India

The Zenfone 5Z is slated to be announced on the 4 of July, and going by the leaked prices, it looks like the Asus Zenfone 5Z will be priced much lesser compared to its global counterparts, making it extremely competitive in India.

It is not the first time Asus has surprised with its pricing. Asus says that the Zenfone 5Z boots up faster than the OnePlus.

Since we already know the features of the Zenfone 5Z, we have a fair idea of what to expect from the upcoming smartphone. It has a 6.59-inch amoled display giving it a screen to body ratio of 91%. It has a 12MP + 12MP dual camera setup with OIS and dual pixel phase detection autofocus on the rear while the front has a 20MP selfie shooter. On the front, there's an 8MP snapper with f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree Field of View lens. The secondary wide-angle sensor also enables the hardware-based Portrait mode to give a strong bokeh effect.

As far as the safety is concerned, the new ASUS Zenfone 5z comes with Face Unlock and fingerprint sensor which can unlock in just 0.3s. The phone is capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps.

Under the hood, there's a 3,300mAh battery that comes with AI-backed fast charging technology, which we are keen to test.
