"I Urge You to Resign": A Mother Confronts Pruitt at Restaurant

While holding her young son, she accuses Pruitt of climate change denial and urges him to resign.

"This is my son, he loves animals, he loves clean air, he loves clean water", she said in the video. This man is directly and significantly harming my child's - and every child's - health and future with decisions to roll back environmental regulations for the benefit of big corporations, while he uses taxpayer money to fund a lavish lifestyle.

"We deserve to have somebody at the EPA who actually does protect our environment".

Several members of the Trump administration have been confronted at restaurants or other public places over the past several weeks.

Teacher Kristin Mink posted the video of the incident on Facebook Monday.

"You've been paying about 50 bucks a night to stay in a DC condo that's connected to an energy lobbying firm, while approving their dirty sands pipeline", she said, referring to the home Pruitt stayed in a year ago, paying way-below market rates to Vicki Hart, the wife of energy lobbyist J Steven Hart. In the tirade, Mink tells Pruitt a couple of times that he should resign, and brings up the scandals faced by the official in recent months.

"If they are doing their jobs well, they should want to hear from the public, and I was there to talk to Scott", Kristin Mink said on MSNBC. "This is not my wheelhouse, confronting people in a restaurant".

Third-party developers able to scan Gmail accounts
It's not news that Google and most of the other top email providers enable outside developers to access the inboxes of users. Last year Google assured that it would stop scanning emails and ensure complete privacy of its users.

Later in the month, press secretary Sarah Sanders was asked to leave the Red Hen restaurant in Virginia.

The restaurant has since been besieged by protestors and death threats.

And Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen made a quick exit when leftist protesters marched into another Mexican restaurant chanting "Shame!". Nielsen was a staunch defender of the administration's policy of forcibly separating children from their parents after entering the U.S. illegally.

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is now investigating Pruitt's management of the EPA and his spending habits, including his use of premium cabins while traveling and the details surrounding a sweetheart condo rental from the wife of an energy lobbyist.

The Trump administration appointees described an administrator who sought a salary that topped $200,000 for his wife and accepted help from a subordinate in the job search, requested aid from senior EPA officials in a dispute with a Washington, D.C., landlord and disregarded concerns about his first-class travel.

EPA spokesman Lincoln Ferguson, however, says Pruitt "always welcomes input from Americans".
