Mobile Launches $10/Mo FamilyMode Service

The FamilyMode app is available on both iOS and Android, which will allow you to control your kids' phone or tablet wherever they are located - on a cellular network or Wi-Fi. With the addition of its "Home Base" device, parents can also expand the range of electronics they have control over.

T-Mobile US, Inc. (NASDAQ:TMUS), a Technology sector firm, traded 3.3 Million shares in last trading session and stock decreased -1.74% with closing price of $59.73 per share. The app is loaded onto the parent devices while the box (Home Base) is installed in the home and connects to Wi-Fi.

For parents, making sure their kids aren't overusing their devices or spending too much time online per family rules is important.

But its aggressive style also bit them, opening up some counterstrike chances for Sweden, which it took advantage of. Jesus Gallardo didn't wait long to make some history against Sweden in Mexico's crucial Group F finale.

FamilyMode can be used without the Home Base as well, with just the FamilyMode app.

The carrier has recently launched a new feature called FamilyMode.which is aimed at helping parents manage the device usage of their kids. If you have more than one kid, you can control who can access which sites. It provides real-time location updates, browser and app history reports, internet-free scheduling, and app and internet time limits. But Apple and Google allow for a bit more leeway by giving users control of their own limits as long as the smartphone or tablet is in the palm of their hands.

The service sells for $10 per month although you'll have to dish out an additional $20 up front for the hardware.
