OnePlus 6 released today in India online and via pop-up stores

Post the launch of their latest flagship, OnePlus confirmed that it has achieved a record INR 100 crore sale within the first 10 minutes of the OnePlus 6 first preview sale in India. It went to sale yesterday but was only available to Amazon Prime members. Customers who already have an Amazon Prime account can head to Amazon India to purchase the smartphone. You can also buy the smartphone from Croma retail outlets apart from buying it directly from OnePlus.in or the OnePlus pop-up stores and OnePlus Experience Stores.

The official sales of OnePlus 6 will begin in India on May 22 through Amazon India and OnePlus.in official store.

The OnePlus 6 price starts at 34,999 rupees (~$517) for the 6GB RAM/64GB ROM model and will set you back 39,999 rupees (~$590) for the 8GB RAM/128GB ROM variant.

OnePlus 6 comes in two RAM+Storage configurations like the previous OnePlus handsets which include 6GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB. Let's mention the United Kingdom as people there will end up paying £469 for 6GB/64GB, £519 for 8GB/128GB for all colors with the exception that Mirror Black and Midnight Black ship within seven days and Silk white in 14 days. The OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition is priced at Rs. 44,999.

The OnePlus 6 properly arrives tomorrow, with reviews hitting the web today to showcase what sort of phone it is. OnePlus makes this strenuous process a whole lot easier with the OnePlus Switch app, which helps you singlehandedly move photos, videos, contacts, and messages from your old Android device to the new OnePlus 6.

Apple is ending apps’ ability to secretly sell your contacts list
These apps will not be allowed to run in the background for mining purposes, as they affect device performance and battery life. Apple has renewed the terms of the App Store and announced the following: it will not allow mining cryptos on iPhone and iPad.

-OnePlus 6 have a 6.28-inch FHD+ Optic AMOLED screen with 19:9 aspect ratio.

Along with a fully edge-to-edge display, there's also a dual-lens camera, all glass design and Qualcomm's incredibly fast Snapdragon 845 processor.

This phone has fingerprint sensor on the back and also incorporates face unlock feature. After more than a month of "leaks" and hype surrounding its release, the new OnePlus 6 has finally hit the market. It has dual 16 MP + 20MP camera and 16 MP front camera. "It is also a great validation of our focused approach and long-term commitment to the Indian market", Vikas Agarwal, General Manager - India, OnePlus said in a statement. So again the question is this: how much do you care for the IP-rating, especially for a phone that supposedly offers some basic protection against splashes and rain even if adding it means you will have to probably pay Rs 2,000 or Rs 3,000 more?

When it comes to software, you won't find any AI gimmicks, bloatware or heavy skinning on the OnePlus 6; instead, you get a clean interface with a buttery-smooth response. It's no different on the OnePlus 6 which runs OxygenOS based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
