Oregon LB Fotu Leiato found dead near vehicle crash

Fotu Leiato, who was dismissed from Oregon's football program in April following an arrest, was found dead hours after reportedly being killed in a single-car accident. Officers have not released the names of the driver or passenger.

The Eugene Police Department said in a Facebook post that Fotu Tuli Leiato's body was found in some heavy brush near Autzen Stadium at Martin Luther King Jr.

Chavarin Jr. had told police he was the only occupant of the vehicle.

The woman discovered the body just before 7 a.m. Police believe the person was a passenger in the man's auto, though the department continues to investigate. He was transported to a local hospital and then after an investigation, he was cited in lieu of custody for DUII.

History made as VAR used to give France a (controversial?) penalty
But Pogba's victor , confirmed by goal-line technology, ensured France opened the tournament with three points. It's also hard when the referee has 50,000 people on his back and has to decide".

'Heart and prayers are with the Leiato family right now as well as the Oregon Football Family after hearing of the loss of Fotu Leiato.

Leiato was arrested earlier this year on charges of theft, criminal trespassing, and criminal mischief.

Leiato, a senior from Steilacoom, Washington, had a big performance in the Ducks' spring game when he recorded five tackles and three sacks. "He will be remembered and missed by all who knew him". "After arriving on campus as a linebacker, the 5'11", 198-pound Leiato got involved on special teams as a true freshman and ultimately shifted to safety as a sophomore. He also was charged in January for misdemeanor trespassing.
