Bayern Munich confirm they will consider offers for Jerome Boateng

According to Munich's CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Boateng will be allowed to leave for the right price after the 29-year-old conceded that he was considering his future having "experienced everything" in seven years at the Allianz Arena.

Germany defender Jerome Boateng is effectively up for sale at the World Cup after Bayern Munich supremo Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed Wednesday that the Brazil 2014 victor can leave the Bundesliga champions for the right price.

Kicker says United will have to battle Spanish clubs to land former Manchester City player Boateng. "I want to play my part so that we enjoy a very, very good World Cup, nothing more and nothing less", he said.

Boateng last month admitted he was considering leaving Bayern to once more test himself overseas, having endured a disappointing 2010-11 season at Manchester City.

He is under contract at Bayern until 2021 and Rummenigge has said any transfer would be expensive. "But I know that Jerome is thinking about leaving".

Only the attorney general has the authority to decline or move forward with the prosecution of alleged criminality. But Horowitz emphasized that Comey was more knuckleheaded than malicious.

Germany kick off their World Cup campaign against Mexico on June 17, before facing Sweden and finally South Korea in Group F.

"If an interested club comes along and Boateng expresses his desire for a transfer, then we will deal with the situation".

"The idea is not out of this world and has been revealed to me by his advisor, so we know that the topic may come to us", said Rummenigge at an event in Munich. I will say this one time: I am focused on the World Cup and I am concentrating on that.

He helped the club win six back-to-back Bundesliga titles along with three DFB Pokal and a Champions League.
