Meghan Markle Shows Skin in Chic Outfit in Buckingham Palace Debut

Sure, there's a place for tradition, but Markle has a whole team helping her dress, and they wouldn't let her disgrace the entire royal family.

On Saturday, the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their first Buckingham Palace balcony debut, at the annual Trooping the Colour event.

Harry and Meghan exchanged vows in a glittering ceremony at Windsor Castle, near London, in May, watched up close by royals and celebrities and from afar by millions of TV viewers around the world.

The Trooping the Colour ceremony marks the start of a busy six months for Meghan and Harry.

Despite their different directions in style at the weekend, both women certainly have one thing in common: their wardrobe choices often sell out in an instant after a public appearance. The Duchess of Sussex dazzled in a ballet pink off-the-shoulder custom Carolina Herrera dress with side button detailing paired with a matching Phillip Treacy hat. However, some critics with knowledge of so-called royal protocol lashed out at the newest member of the monarchy.

It is certainly true that the royal family have certain guidelines that they adhere to for formal events.

In the blog, she talked about having a "gravitational pull towards what is said to be one of the most attractive countries in the world" and spoke of its stunning lakes, welcoming wine country, glaciers, forest, farmland and beaches.

Meanwhile, while Meghan is in work mode, Kate Middleton, 36, is spending her summer maternity leave having fun. According to the Mirror, who spoke with a "lip reader", Harry was checking if Meghan was okay throughout the day after she admitted she was "nervous".

Prince Harry spent time serving with the British military in Afghanistan and was the first British Royal to be sent into combat in more than a quarter of a century. The Queen is nearly always expected to wear gloves, for instance, and other female members of the royal family should never be caught at a fancy event without a hat.

"Like Kate does with her personal stylist, Meghan will receive outfits, look at sketches and discuss with Jessica what makes sense for her upcoming engagements", the source explains.
