John Boyega Calls Out Star Wars Trolls on Social Media

But now, as The Hollywood Reporter first pointed out, John Boyega is seemingly calling fans out for harassing Tran, letting his followers know that no matter how they feel about the new Disney-era movies in the franchise. "You're not entitled to politeness when your approach is rude. Even if you paid for a ticket!" the 26-year-old tweeted.

Boyega then went on to respond to a few more kind-hearted fans on Twitter, including one who joked that next Boyega would say that actors write their own lines, which Boyega responded to by stating that, "or that sw is in fact a documentary and I am actually a stormtrooper".

Obviously I could go on and on about everything that is unbelievable in the Star Wars films, but one of the most striking things about them is the creativity involved in all the different alien characters, their societies, their characteristics, and how well they fit into the stories, and this is no exception.

The actor - who played Stormtrooper Finn - took to Twitter this week to air his grievances towards the pests in the wake of Kelly Marie Tran being forced off social media by a bunch of harassers who apparently didn't like the direction her character, Rose, went in on The Last Jedi. John tweeted moments ago on Tuesday (June 12). However, once Lucasfilm came under the Disney banner, they chose not to move forward with any of the ideas he put forth, and instead The Force Awakens began the new story arc for the Star Wars saga, albeit with some elements borrowed from George Lucas' original plans.

"You understand that there is a process so much appreciated!" he tweeted.

Fed hikes rate for second time this year
The rate is estimated to fall 3.5% next year, through to 2020, down from the previous forecast of 3.6%. Inflation for the next two years is expected to remain at 2.1%, unchanged from the previous forecast.

Boyega isn't the only one who has spoken out in defense of Tran.

"The Last Jedi: director Rian Johnson also called the trolls "manbabies". Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey, left Instagram after she faced harassment following a post about gun control.

But while some are celebrating this breakthrough, a horde of trolls in social media and internet forums have taken it upon themselves to abuse Tran for basically not being a white male - harassing her online and ultimately hounding her off social media. "People weren't nice about how I looked".
