First House of Cards Season 6 Photos Released

It is ironic that Netflix chose to release first-look images from the upcoming sixth and final season of House Of Cards during the Tony Awards, hosted a year ago by the series' former star Kevin Spacey.

We're definitely in the post-Kevin Spacey era, folks: Netflix on Sunday released images giving viewers a sneak peek of the upcoming season of political thriller "House of Cards", which was reworked when star Kevin Spacey got booted from the show last fall after a number of men accused him of sexual harassment and assault.

The show's final season had to undergo a massive production shift late previous year when Spacey was accused of numerous acts of sexual assault, leading to his firing from the show. The series also brings back Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson, Emmy Award Nominee Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott and Boris McGiver in the sixth and final season. As a result, the season had to be reconfigured and episodes went through reshoots to factor in his absence.

The sixth and final season of House of Cards will revolve around Claire in the Oval Office, having taken over the reins from her husband. We aren't sure how everything will be handled at the start of season six, but there's much speculation that Frank will be dead.

Tesla said it plans to cut 9% of its workforce as part of a restructuring meant to reduce costs and boost profitability. Musk said the cutbacks would not affect the company's ability to reach Model 3 production targets in the coming months.

Claire Underwood became the President at the end of House of Cards season 6.

As the fictional Madam President of the United States, Wright will serve as the sole lead in the final chapter of House of Cards, joined by a flush returning roster as well as Greg Kinnear and Diane Lane in supporting roles.
