Disney's Dumbo Remake Trailer Is Moving And Magical

Dumbo is directed by Tim Burton, who previously helmed the hugely successful Alice in Wonderland for Disney, as well as classics such as Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, and the 1989 Batman. Now, the live-action reimagining of Dumbo utilizes state-of-the-art visual effects to portray the title character and many of his four-legged counterparts. It's also a surprising departure for Burton, whose name has become synonymous with a Gothic flair and kabuki-mask faces.

The live-action adaptation stars Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito and Eva Green among others. But Dumbo has a unique ability that soon garners the attention of the greedy entrepreneur - and obvious P.T. Barnum stand-in - V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton).

With the likes of The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast continuing to prove box office gold, Disney is continuing to remake its classics in live-action (or, photoreal-animated) form - and its latest offers an intriguing pairing of material and director. The screenplay of Dumbo is written by Ehren Kruger.

The movie is scheduled for a March 2019 release. Colin Farrell stars as soldier Holt Farrier, who returns home from war and is recruited by a circus owner (Danny DeVito) to care for a newborn elephant with oversized ears.

Originally released in 1941, "Dumbo" is the story about an elephant with big ears who can fly. "Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets".

Open. "I didn't really have it today, but I was able to close out the round with a couple of birdies to get it back to even". Johnson shot 4-under par in the final round to secure his second win on the PGA Tour this year and the 18th of his career.
