Demi Lovato Cancels London Concert Hours Before Show - Read Her Statement

Demi Lovato is battling "swollen vocal chords" - and has been forced to cancel her London concert tonight.

The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer also expressed that she is indeed very sorry over this upsetting cancellation and sincerely apologized to any fans who made plans to see her live show.

A doctor told her she could further injure her vocal cords if she performed Sunday, which would force her to cancel the rest of her world tour. I'm so so sorry to disappoint any of my fans in London that have traveled hours to be here by plane or vehicle, and to all of the fans that got these tickets for their birthday, holiday, or any other special occasion.

'It just breaks my heart to let you down.

She continued: "Just know I feel your frustration and I wouldn't do this unless I absolutely had to".

She later thanked fans for their support on Twitter. "Get well soon honey that's what matters", one Instagram user wrote, adding: "We care about you more than the show".

The singer was due to play at the O2 Arena in London on Sunday night.

After a distraught Demi Lovato was forced to cancel United Kingdom shows from sickness, fans were determined to cheer her up and did so with an incredible tribute.

The Sorry Not Sorry hitmaker apologised to those who had made huge efforts to see her in concert, and explained how heartbroken she was to cancel the performance.

"On pulling her Birmingham gig, she added: "I'm literally gutted that I have to postpone this next show in Birmingham".

Lovato's June has been bumpy so far.

Demi Lovato is proving once again that sometimes, you have to prioritize your health first.

"She walked into his room without permission and grabbed him in his "area" and he freaked the fuck out hahahaha".

Fans rallied around to make signs before gathering to sing "Skyscraper", a song very close to both Demi and many of her fans, to let her know they were there for her as "their little way of giving back". "So sorry if anyone was offended".
