According to journalists, Mbappe was forced to leave training on Tuesday after picking up a knock to his left ankle after a challenge by Adil Rami.

The 19-year-old was injured in a training ground incident with the severity of his injury now unknown but the forward had to leave the session.

There are no details thus far as to the extent of the injury, but the 19-year-old is expected to undergo tests after his early exit. "And let my friend Rami [know] it was not nasty".
