Spider-Man's E3 2018 appearance featured a long lineup of villains

That's what Ghost of Tsushima captures, in the very best way, based on an in-depth trailer shown at Sony's PlayStation press conference at E3.

As Spider-Man progressed through the Raft, he ran into a full rogues gallery of classic villains, including Scorpion, Rhino and Vulture. There'll also be a sixth villain, but his/her identity has not been revealed yet.

Starring the world's most iconic Super Hero, Spider-Man PS4 (working title) features the acrobatic abilities, improvisation and web-slinging that the wall-crawler is famous for, while also introducing elements never-before-seen in a Spider-Man game. We're expecting good things from it.

The official cautioned, however, that the schedule could always change if meeting goes well and there is more to discuss. In recent days, Trump had suggested the meeting could last days, potentially even resulting in a nuclear deal.

The trailer opens on a stormy evening at The Raft, a supermax security facility. Another villain appears at the end of the trailer, but his or her identity is never revealed. These are dire times in Marvel's New York City.

Marvel and Insomniac Games have teamed up to create a brand-new and authentic Spider-Man story. It might not have been the all out hype assault of Sony from the past, but it goes to show just how much they're squeezing out of their first-party studios to make it a moot point. These designs were careful collaborations to create familiar but fresh takes on the characters. We see Spider-Man and a female police officer responding to trouble caused by Electro.

We're expected to play a whole lot more of Sony's library this week, so be on the look out for that soon!
