New Beyond Good and Evil 2 trailer features a villainous Jade

The ship's cook is shown to be Peyj, from the original Beyond Good & Evil, albeit in a far younger form.

While all this is going on, we see the pilot and her simian sidekick from the previous trailer whizzing around the vessel, before both vehicles are caught in a huge wave of ice - the cause of a third, enormous vessel approaching.

While you're here, here's everything we know about the setting, characters and, release date of Beyond Good and Evil 2.

Ubisoft announced a partnership with HitRecord today, a company headed up by actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Beyond Good & Evil 2 is to follow an open-world playstyle, with this city being only one of many such settings, some of which were shown to us in last year's E3.

Net neutrality has been rolled back - but it's not dead yet
Per the net neutrality order, states can not enact any legislation that attempts to circumvent the repeal. Some states are creating their own net neutrality rules, but are barred by the FCC from implementing them.

Ubisoft was also eager to share that the camera mechanic from the original game will be back; this time around the character has a spyglass, which gives players a chance to take pictures, scan the environment, and so on.
