Gal Gadot To Star With Dwayne Johnson In ‘Red Notice’

Today, Deadline announced Gadot's first major move outside of the DC world: she is set to star alongside Dwayne Johnson in Red Notice, an upcoming action-comedy project from Universal that will premiere in the summer of 2020.

Adding Gadot helps give the expensive blockbuster a higher-floor as her star-power still sits at an all-time high thanks to the rollicking success of last year's Wonder Woman.

The actress, model and Revlon spokeswoman also just appeared in a music video for Maroon 5, and is now filming Wonder Woman 2.

EastEnders star Leslie Grantham 'critically ill'
However, he made a shock return in 2003, when it was revealed he'd actually survived being gunned down. Former EastEnders actor Leslie Grantham is reported to be in a critical condition in hospital.

The film tells the story of an Interpol agent - played by Johnson - who is tracking down an global art thief.

Thurber flew to London for less than 30 hours just to pitch Gadot in person for the role. It's reportedly a three-hander between Johnson, Gadot, and another male star that will soon be set, and Gadot will be playing "a brilliant and mysterious figure in the art world".

Red Notice will be produced by the returning Skyscraper team, including Beau Flynn (Rampage, San Andreas) for his Flynn Picture Co., Johnson, Dany Garcia (Jumanji, Ballers) and Hiram Garcia (San Andreas, Central Intelligence) for their Seven Bucks Productions, and Thurber for his Bad Version, Inc. Thurber and Johnson most recently completed Skyscraper, which Universal and Legendary are releasing July 13. Dwayne Johnson is his own superhero. Legendary is in discussions to partner in Red Notice. Wendy Jacobson of FPC is executive producing.
