E3 Trailer: ‘The Last of Us Part 2’ Shows Off Stealth Gameplay

As far as we're concerned, The Last of Us: Part II is the standout game at E3 2018 so far, and Naughty Dog's been talking a little bit about the levels of effort its investing into the sequel over on the PlayStation Blog.

We knew Ellie was older in The Last of Us: Part II, but now Druckmann confirmed that she is 19 years old. She's had a chance to be a teenager and forge lasting relationships. Oddly enough, Joel - the previous game's protagonist - has not appeared in the game yet. From the way Ellie plays to the way she navigates through this hostile world, you're going to feel her physical, emotional, and mental state expressed through every facet of gameplay.

Brazilian tennis great Maria Bueno dies after battle with cancer
She successfully defended her Wimbledon crown the following year and claimed back-to-back US Nationals titles in 1963-64. French Open organizers paid tribute to Bueno with a minute's applause ahead of the women's singles final on Saturday.

The action sequence ends with a machete to the throat as the visual fades back to the dance with Ellie's love interest. This brings "unprecedented realism, verticality, and player choice", the game director teased. One person in particular catches her eye: an animated woman about Ellie's age with long, black hair tied up in a bun, her face glistening with sweat as she gallops around the dance floor with a young man. Woodward and Ashley Johnson, who voices Ellie, recreated the scene in real life at the Sony E3 2018 briefing.
