Donald Trump Reveals Larry Kudlow Suffered a Heart Attack

Kudlow, 70, a conservative commentator, replaced Gary Cohn who resigned in March.

The president's top economic adviser has suffered a heart attack, President Trump said.

Kudlow worked closely with the president on trade and economic negotiations at the G7 Summit in Canada, before the president traveled to Singapore.

Many who have criticized the policy have focused on its effect on children who are separated from their parents. As the president was leaving the G7 summit, he said he would be open to a bill.

"I think he's okay", said veteran economist Stephen Moore, a close friend of Kudlow. Moore said one of his confidants had spoken with Kudlow on Monday evening.

Kudlow's condition wasn't immediately known.

Kudlow appeared on Jake Tapper's CNN Sunday Beltway show, State Of The Union, this past Sunday, accusing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of undermining the U.S. and the G-7 confab with his comments. Appearing on CNN's "State of the Union" show on Sunday, Kudlow called Trudeau's criticism of Trump's tariff proposals "a betrayal" that "really kind of stabbed us in the back". His recovery was a great source of pride for him and for his friends, contributing to his upbeat manor.
