Trailer of Janhvi Kapoor’s debut film ‘Dhadak’ launched

The film is set to hit the screens on July 20.

"I saw Sairat with mom at home and I remember telling her "I wish that this was my first film and I could do something like it". It was then that director Shashank made a decision to chip in and say, "I can't direct you anymore".

Janhvi also admitted she was quite nervous at her first trailer launch: "I am nervous but also happy".

"I definitely miss her today", a visibly emotional Janhvi added and revealed a few tips her mom gave her: "To work hard and feel every emotion". Dhadak stars debutants Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, whereas we see Diljit Dosanjh and Taapsee Pannu in Soorma. Janhvi said she has treated her character differently from the one in Sairat. I think that is our responsibility and their responsibility. But my character is different from hers.

Trump's tweets slam Canada and Trudeau anew from Singapore
Trump bantered easily with Trudeau, joking that the neighbouring leader had "agreed to cut all tariffs and all trade barriers". She also said that Canada is "very measured" and that country officials "use fact-based arguments".

Asked if her character is similar to what Rinku Rajguru played in Sairat, Janhvi gave a very humble response. I was consumed by it. Talking about Ishan, he said "I was judging a show with Shahid (Kapoor) where Ishaan happened to meet him on the set". Arjun has been supportive of Janhvi and Khushi, ever since the veteran actor died earlier this year in Dubai.

Janhvi will be the newest face from the Anil-Boney Kapoor household to be part of Bollywood. "Firstly, sorry I'm not there in Mumbai but I'm by your side, don't worry", Arjun posted on his Instagram handle on Sunday.

It further says - "I just wanted you to know this profession is incredible if you work hard, be honest, learn to take the accolades with the brickbats, respect opinions, yet follow ur own path & instinct".
